It quickly became a destination for Hawai‘i locals craving island favorites like saimin, fries, burgers and of course plate lunches. L&L’s reputation for serving fresh, made-to-order plate lunches spread, and what started as just one L&L Drive Inn soon grew. Locations opened across O‘ahu and then throughout the Hawaiian Islands, U.S. mainland and beyond.
