The solution of the 3x3x3 Magic Cube and the 3x3x3 Void Cube is very close to optimal. For a well tangled puzzle, that's about 19 moves. For 4x4x4, 5x5x5, Kilominx with and without centers, and Megaminx the optimal solution is unknown, so nobody knows :) A well-tangled: - 4x4x4 on average is solved in 48 moves - 5x5x5 in 83 moves - Kilominx with centers in 35 moves - Kilominx without centers in 33 moves.
